We believe that the residents of Jackson County deserve an award for their
services to the community, through teaching our youth, providing leadership,
fund raising for any local causes and so many other contributions to this county.
This program offers recognition to businesses and individuals for their
achievements and contributions to our community, giving residents of Jackson County
an opportunity to share their stories and be rewarded for their efforts.

The 2008 Angel Awards categories are Business of the year, Student of the year,
Educator of the year, Man of the year and Women of the year. Nominations are
open to any resident of Jackson County, and you may submit nominations for
more than one individual or company. Please take the time to nominate YOUR
choice by completing a nomination form and submitting it by the deadline of
April 14, 2008. All information collected will be kept confidential.
Only committee members and judges will review this information, and reserve
the right to verify all information.
The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community-based voluntary
health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem.
We as an American Cancer Society Relay for Life team are sponsoring this event to
help with the fight against this disease.
